We have a full-time opportunity for an experienced construction Aerial Lineman who will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of overhead power lines, telecommunications lines, and other aerial systems. This role involves working at heights and requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, safety protocols, and technical skills.

What You’ll Do
- Safe and effective operation of Bucket Trucks for assigned tasks
- Mentor new hires as required.
- Capability to carry and utilize a 28’-32’ ft ladder in locations inaccessible by bucket truck (ability to climb is advantageous).
- Identify opportunities for improvement while creating and implementing viable solutions
- Must be available for emergency repair calls on a 24-hour standby schedule, including weekends & holidays, on a rotating basis with other standby crews.
- Must be able to install & repair exterior cable hardline to include coax, 628 & 875, all counts of fiber & strands
- Must be proficient in using a lasher
- Apply personal ethics, honesty, initiative, flexibility, responsibility, and confidentiality in all areas of responsibility.
- Multi-task and change from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure

What You’ll Need
- Prefer 2 years of experience but will train the right individuals
- Have and maintain up-to-date knowledge of technological developments in the industry.
- Effectively communicate with other departments to handle escalating issues in a timely manner.
- Function as an effective team member while supporting the efforts and concepts of other departments.
- Support the mission, vision, and values of GridSource
- Proficiency in aerial hard line and fiber placement, encompassing new construction, repair, and replacement of existing cable systems.
- Possess an enthusiastic, energetic, self-motivated, and detail-oriented approach towards work and all work projects.
- Possess strong problem solving and decision-making skills while using good judgment.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, co-workers and management.
- Actively follow GridSource Inc, LLC policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- May occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch
- Must occasionally lift and/or carry loads of up to 95 lbs.
- Required to lift 32-foot ladder.
- Noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.
- May be required to climb poles (with proper equipment), ladders, and other structures as necessary.
- Required to work within limited confines, such as crawl spaces, as needed.
- May occasionally works near moving mechanical parts
- Must be able to work in an outdoor environment year around in all weather conditions
- May occasionally exposed to the risk of electrical shock, radiation, and vibration.
- May be required to work more than 40 hours per week and other than normal business hours, such as holidays, evenings and weekends as business demands.
