Ok guys, scratched my head for 3 hours on this mod

Here it is,I did an install today and something occurred today. It was a triple play phone hsi with home networking and a single dct. The house has 8 outlets so I installed an 8 way no loss amp to keep signals even keel. Signal at the end of drop is 2.2/42, signal at modem is 1.3/41. I have minimal signal fluctuations at back of modem (+ or - .2). This line is home run to amp, as are all of them. Mta is locked on no issues at all. Now to the problem, the modem (SMC docsis 3.0 wireless) keeps dropping of, when you attempt to go online. I ran the usual battery of tests, x-ray ingress, reverse path, basic signal. Double and triple checked, I ran a 100 foot jumper from tap to modem just for kicks same result, to rule out bad drop or amp. The only thing I could find is on reverse path at the tap, slight noise at 12.5 mhz. I have no clue what this could be, I swapped out the modem 3 times. Even converged mta on the same outlet works perfect. I am a total loss of what the hell is going on. I had to leave the sub with no hsi until I can figure a resolution. I have no hsi hard lined or wi-fi. Is this a line problem? A node issue? A bad tap? Head end issue? I am totally perplexed and need a resolve. Thanks in advance guys..Oh and I use a comsonics companion meter
