Dilemma


The company I currently work for is sending me out of town the day after labor day. They will fly me out that morning and put me in my own hotel room and pay it. Per diem will be $36 per day, and I will be able to work all the hours I want. Anything over 8 hrs per day is time and a half, and any overtime over 9hrs per week is double time. Any Sunday work is double time. Truck, tools, gas, and material is provided.
The dilemma, I don't have to go. Being away from the family for 19 days is a long time, but the extra money in my IRA would be nice. Have never had to work out of town and wonder if I am getting screwed or would I make out ok,
