I would say go for it. It will be a good experience for you and the wife and kids will live for three weeks. Ive done a lot of short stents to make a buck and You appreciate home more after a few weeks away. What I do when I get a hourly gig out of town is work like a dog. I clock as many hours as I can and do as good a job as I know how. This way you will be remembered as a go getter and it may pay off down the road. Good luck.
