To go in house or not?

I am currently sub-contracting and have been offered a job to go in house. Only thing is starting pay for an installer is only like 9.00hr. On call 20.00 per day. I am just wondering what others think about the trade off between the two. A little more job stability? No vehicle/gas expense. Health/Dental Insurance. Is it all worth the trade? I do enjoy the feeling that my boss isn't around. You know if you are all caught up no appt for an hour or so.. Stop by Home Depot loaf around go get a bite to eat. Not really much that can be said. I am afraid those days would be gone huh.. Anyways I would like to know what some of you think. Thanks in advance
