I am working for a company as an in-house installer tech, My company has insurance on it's workers but they expect the tech's to pay the $5000.00 deductable on damage claims. In other words if i install service and cause any damage at the customers home I am liable to pay up to 5 grand out of my pocket? But, we also have the customer sign a release form before work is performed stating that we are not responsible for any damages during installation? just looking for some input here, they also make us pay $1000.00 on any vehicle accidents. Is it legal for them to make us pay the deductable on their insurance policies?
