I am pretty sure they had us sign in regard to the deductables, My thing is this, I make copies of ALL my paperwork and have the copies where the customer waives ME from ANY damages from the installations. I am wondering if i can tell the company NOT to TOUCH my check and that I am standing behind the customer waiver and that the customer would have to pursue this in a court of law to make me liable to cover damages that they waived by signing the waiver agreement? Thanks to all who replied by the way. I was hoping for a cut and dry yes or no but i do realize that there are variences in the laws. I am not so sure about the contractor versus employee part though, I contract for Directv but I am In-house with the company i work for, Truck is supplied and all insurance and materials are company related.
