All this hoopla about a mosque being built near ground zero and I have a question. What does it have to do with changing the economy? As per some guys actions here youare being distracted from your central point. From many post some people feel Obama is wrecking the country, now what does a muslim mosque have to do with that.
Now that I have said that lets set some perameters. Obama is not a Muslim, he is not the one who decides who builds what and where, and he showed no supoort for building the mosque; he just stated that muslims have a right to build religious buildings where they want. which is granted by the constitution.
Before America became a nation the dutch and the brits had a law that prevented synagogues to be built in manhattan. After the constitution was created that law was abloished. Is it right to go back to that kind of broad intolerism of a faith for the acts of a few. I have seen christians bomb abortion clinincs and protest the funerals of fallen soldiers. So why not ban a church Buddist temple, or synagogue being built around ground zero. All people that died were not of the same faith, some possibly muslim, so why stop the mosque? Or is the logic al queda is muslim so all muslims are bad and have the same views as al-queda?
