Totally baffled by this one. I have installed well over 30 four room installs for Directv using a 3x4 zinwell multiswitch. I run two cables from the 18 inch dish (dual lnb) to the switch and then run 4 cables from the switch to each receiver. Have had NO problems, till recently.
I have two installs that are both doing the exact same thing. Receivers 1, 2 and 3 working GREAT!!
Receiver 4 only getting every other transponder. The other transponders are 0. So, on the signal meter screen I see this:
0 98 0 97 0 96 0 95 . . . and so on.
therefore, not all channels are there.
I thought maybe a bad line - so I replaced the RG6 cable between receiver 4 and the switch.
I thought maybe a bad switch, so I replaced the switch.
Still, no luck
I thought bad receiver, switched receivers - same thing.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
