I believe the day they started taking away custom charges was the day I started to feel like I was not making money.... Don't make any deals with Dish to start doing their phones for free and their poles for free. Whoever started that crap screwed up a lot of potential money to made for the installer. $50 for a pole mount and $50 for a phone jack and $50 for a wall fische are all fair charges and customers for the most part feel the same way......somewhere along the way contractors started doing this stuff for free and supplying the materials not good day in sat installs.
I usually never had a problem collecting for extras as far as the customer was concerned and they are EXTRAS. I even charge customers for programming their home theatre remote.... Lost a contract 0ver that one... Oh well If it takes me time or material its gonna cost someone $$$$$ thats all there is too it.
