need input on this

ok here's the deal i was offered a job for a comcast contractor that pays hourly 24.00 an hour but it depends on your SOI score and complition score. but they tried telling me they are gonna pay me 9.00 and hour to start untill they classify me as a triple play tech, but after i tell them i was they wasnt me to ride with a QC or a supervisor for a few days then they will decide if they will pay me the full amount, im actually thinking about taking a teledata job that pays 16 an hour instead at least that way i know what to exspect on my pay and after 8 hours i get OT. give me some advice on this guys
