So the contractor I sub from hired a guy to do the QC stuff, he is an employee not another sub. In the past another sub always did them and in order for them to get paid for the failed QC they had to actually fix the job. The new guy is just taking photos and charging back. I am questioning the legality of this, one of the managers said it was a fine but there is nothing in our contracts that provides for fines.
