Sounds like overdrive:
Veryfy amplifier specs - (Inputs and ouput levels), these are critical to keeping an analog picture clear and high quality. If hitting an amplifier with too much level or levels areseverly out of adjustment, it is easy to over-drive the chip in the next amp and that will produce horizontal lines in an analog picture.
