Can broadband internet be ran through the same rg6

We currently installed a customer with dish network and she went to order internet through her local cable company and they are declining her service because we used the only rg6 line in her apartment building and they said that they can not run a new line.  Can both the internet and the dish signal be ran through the same rg6 line with diplexers or other devices?
