The answer is yes the RG-6 has the capacity to carry signals of satellite or cable now the problem is the frequencies,satellite signal in hd come from the KA-KU BAND using a complitly different frecuency that the internet broadband use. the other problem is that when you install a satellite sistem basis on the amount of receivers the customer want you will have to install satellite splitter most of them work with power (electricity) and even when you diplex the signal at the groundblock,if you dont isolate the line that's go where the broadband internet is you will have noise and power into that line causing the return level behing the modem go higher than it suppoust to be and your connection is going to start failing.in other words a separate line for the internet is the best option my friend.
