??? If you apply for a SUB position.... tell the man your a sub, provide all ins, vehicles, tools ... blah blah blah.... How, why would you turn around and pin him for using you as an employee. If you agree to the terms and complete the job, how is that breaking the law. There isnt an installer contractor out there that isn't setting time frames... how the hell could they??? The MSO Has to give time frames!
Listen, if the man boned you on your pay, follow the proper procedures and retrieve your money through the legal system. Don't make **** up and screw the rest of the world, just for your benefit.
There might be some shady outfits in this business, holding prime contracts, but I'm sure there are just as many good ones. Don't punish everyone for the mistakes of a few.
