Explain this please

I pride myself on being honest and I do my best to help the companies that I work with. Why is it that I am finding that so many companies/contractors in this business just lack honesty, integrity and ethics. I mean the Mso's aren't much different. Maybe it trickles down! Domino effect does make sense. I have met a SELECT few that keep their word, but that's it. People in this industry will use you to get where and what they want.....and then when that takes place, they are done with you. This blows my mind. Now granted some of the white collar companies hide it better but make no mistake I have noticed this industry wide. Why is this? I suggest getting a credit report, to determine the credit worthiness of the company. that's a start I guess
