You object to $45 pricing for installing an MTA on an active account?
Good god man, what's wrong with that? That's a 45 minute job, with an alarm system maybe an hour. Either way, at worst it's $45 a hour. And given that installation routes are always quantative -meaning volume pricing is involved- the implication is you're making $360 a day, or $2100 a week, or $112k a year.
You know many LICENSED elecrtrical, plumbing or even building contractors who make over 6 figures a year?
This thread undercuts relevant gripes by techs on the Cable bar. Not getting $80 for 45 minutes of work or $100 for a wallfish is not a valid complaint, it is a display of greed.
