Called out on a service call (poppin'and cracklin on phone line). Customer had a cordless= no manual or idea if it was 900Mhz or 2.4g or 5.6g or whatever they've got these days. Every time he turned on the Microwave the noises started. checked it with my butt set and no problem with microwave oven on! tried his phone again with oven on and same noise. Short of suggesting he use Orville Reddenbacher instead of the cheap brand of microwave popcorn I suggested he contact a phone retailer that could gaurantee a system that wouldn't be affected by the radiation. Now, did i miss something in my trouble shoot? As i stated, with a plug in standard phone there was no problem with the micro and demonstrated such to the customer. Did i miss something in my trouble shoot or do you know of a cordless that would be unaffected by the microwave? Thanx, Mike M.
