One other thing is,, suggest that he get a phone system that has multiple cordless handsets and DO NOT REQUIRE CONNECTION TO OUTLET other than the main phone. These little systems work really well and are very reliable in most cases. And they come with multiple lines if the customer needs that option. Again hope this helps.
