Re: John Lynch/Hope Communication

No, but anybody following this trade must recognize the increasing number of these "Digital Direct" types screwing others.

It's rather disgusting, if you ask me. Seems as if any crackhead with an inside connection can find a contract nowadays, and once getting it, apparently their ultimate plan is to:

1) Hire the most incompetant installers. The ones who have been run off by everyone else but are willing to work for chump change and under terrible morale.

2) Add nothing positive to the contract because that interferes with their real job; calculating how many subs they need to hire in order for their lifes dream - to sit on their ass all day and vegitate - becomes reality.

But if that fails (which it always does):

3) Stretch out withholding periods and retainage so when the contract is finally lost they can skip town with as much loot as possible.

Pessimistic or reality? Let the reports and stories posted here and among your associates be the judge.
