VOIP Issue

So I'm sure everybody has had loads of fun trying to resolve intermittent voip issues. I've had several complaints of people saying that sometimes the person on the other end can hear them but they can't hear the other person or vice versa. I was assuming that these were RF issues but I was at a call yesterday that I thought I fixed and the sub called me back today to tell me that he was still having the same issues today. I pulled up the diagnostics on the VOIP modem (Arris) from the office and discovered that SNR is good (32), no packet loss, no power adjustments and no flaps on modem since I was there the day before screwing around with the cable. Can the CPE phone wiring cause one way voice issues? Any ideas or shared experiences would be a big help. Thanks.
