I cant speak for anyone else however for us we will not hire anyone with a felony and/or any record of theft. I see that a guy can make a mistake years back in his life with the felony (say now clean but had a drug issue) but the MSO's will not allow it.
We also require clean driving record. (Max of 2 tickets in 2 years or no DW 's in the past 5) The only reason we do is our insurance company has to put a blanket over everyone incase someone gets in a crash and his/her insurance has a max cap on it.
I just speak for us though I suspect others are in the same boat.
