Re: certification

Im very aware that the MSOs have their own QC departments, but I see lots of posts complaining about hacks coming in & screwing things up. My question is, why do they allow contractors to come into their system & work on their plant without any prior experience with the contractor, or proof of the contractors abilities. 2weeks ago I repaired a job that was spliced by electrictians, they had no coring tools & when they were asked if they had meters they said yes. (they had VOMs)
