Reclaiming Labor procedures????

I'm reclaiming my labor for work I haven't been paid for. I've already gone to the prime, they say "not our problem". My question is, Do I contact the cable company so they can send an inhouse with me to collect what I cut out? Or do I just show up in their office with all the parts I've cut out? ****'s gona hit the fan on this job whichever way I go and hope to get it all cut out before they get a load of service calls. But should I contact cable company before or after I cut?
