Hello. I am thinking about starting a career in the cable industry, but what i have read on this page and from other sources leads me to believe that it is a requirement to be a drug addict or a alcoholic. If this is true i guess i don't qualify. If i could get some feedback from those who are in the know i would appreciate it

There are plenty of the addictive behavior types you talk about in this industry but my guess is that there used to be many more. You should have been around 15 or 20 years ago, in contracting and in-house..... thats when the reputation we endure today was started....much better today
