As to the merger, GM would love to get rid of DTV and if
Charlie can finance it and pull it off, good
for him.
There is plenty of competition already...WS net, 4dTV, and
let us not forget the reason for dbs...the cable dinosaurs..
anybody remember PrimeStar which was a partnership of MSO's
so they would have universally available competition and
dodge Congressional regulation. Talk about attempted monopolies.
Looks like their puppy came back to bite them on their broad band asses.
I would love to see the merger..think about it, I figure at least 12,000,000
subs will need to be upgraded..and guess who will get the work, thats right
kiddies...those of us who know what an inclinometer is.
