The below companies (Clientel) together have $9.2 Billion to spend on fiber projects spread across the USA, I won't get into detail but here they are: LTD Broadband, Charter, RE Electric, Space X, WindStream, Next Link, Frontier, Resource Net, Starry, Source FCC, Century Link. I'm sure the top 5 PRIME contractors have already signed the contract to construct these. Fiber to 5.2 Million Homes, why don't our Government just award these funds to the cable MSO, and just extended out off their existing system...to the local rural areas. I see a lot of our taxpayer funds being wasted paying such companies as those listed above in trying to recreate new service area's, when the local MSO has been there operating on a minimal budget.
