Does anyone have something in writing showing the correct way to set up a high gain dual and/or balanced triple?
For years we have been setting the inputs to 8db for duals and 10db for tripples.
I only ask because i was recently sent to another system who still just sets up the output and doesnt really pay attention to the input. They have a section with a 10 amp cascade with ds errors occuring.
It is my hypothosis that since the amps were getting hit with 15 db that by the time it goes through the cascade the noise increases and give errors.
I told them to rebalance with my specs to see if this clears. Does this sound like a solid solution?
