OTDR Reflections



 I am having problems with reflections at Patch Panels, I have 3 panels at the start of 25KFT run, and I have 3 more on a 10KFT run these panels are within 370' of each other. I have cleaned connectors front and back, changed barrels, replaced jumpers and re-spliced in FEC and back of the 1 RU panels. Any suggestions.

 Also on another note when I run my report for these runs along with another long run 140KFT I see span loss that is high but i do not see any problems with the trace even when I zoom in. I have an EXFO FTB-200 v2.

 I am a in-house fiber splicer and have been doing this for several years but we have never had to run reports and go over our fiber with a magnifiying glass, don't get me wrong we have always fixed what ever had problems and been able to find pretty quick. We are doing a vendor project and they are not giving much to go on with thresholds. I have been setting everything at factory defaults. Where can you find industry standards for fiber loss, thresholds.
