Re: OTDR Reflections


Thanks for the feed back. I have not been using adeadzone but I am now, I have checked my OTDR connector and it is clean. 
 The 3 panels close together are SC UPC and then I have some SC APC in the middle of one run. All the UPC jumpers are new, and most of the APC jumpers are new. I have checked the jumpers for any loss and they are all good. 

 I will try your suggestions and see what I find today. I am going to out to see if I can get a couple of splices to look better. I have some old (97) fiber spliced to some Newer (10) fiber and my thoughts are these are two different core shapes and size and tend to have higher loss even though they are SM fiber.
