It's a hard life out on the road....can't blame a person for wanting to work. The real blame should be the Cable MSO...They have destroyed the experienced, hard working, honest contractor. This is the reason the phone and electrical contractor laugh at the cable contractors...fly by nights, mix match of vehicles on the job site, not safety minded, lack of experience. The reason they are like this: The Cable MSO just won't pay the required rates to run an honest company...so you have the fly by nights.
Work Comp-State and Federal Taxes-Liability Insurance-fuel-maintenance-training-food-motels-Warehouse-Office-Dispatchers-safety-QC-PR-Background Checks-License review-ETC. It's all part of being an honest-up scale-legal contractor.
They get what they pay for.
