my little birdie tells me that the contractor who contracts directly from the cable company is only paying their subs 40 percent of what they get to do the job.....the cable guy i know says that they pay 30 bucks for adding an outlet wether house wrap or wallfish and the sub pays its contractors 12 bucks to add an outlet....meaning they keep 18 bucks for having a warehouse and management....you do the work pay for insurance and the cable company furnishes materials and you get 12 bucks they get 18 and the one i know runs 40 techs a day out of that building
as far as my original comment i was simply pointing out that there are usually fulltime year round companies to work for in these areas so why deal with one who only wants to come when its good and then packs up and leaves....alot easier to collect your pay if the company you work for actually has an office instead of a hotel room
