Why do you think it is that some of these techs don't care? We all started at the same point, which was becasue we found that we could make good money and provide for our families. Then came along the non pay companies that take advantage of their contractors or employees and start squeezing them for all the money that they worked for. Like these companies that say they provide the tools to get a new guy going on installs and then mark up the same tools 100% or more and take them out on a payroll deduction. Or the bogus charge backs and not to mention the low wages that were more than double 5 to 10 years back. Maybe it is not all the fault of the cable companies but there is a lot of blame pointed in that direction.
Its funny how my cable bill goes up every year but the pay per point drops every year. Its like that old say reap what you sow or something like that
