4,8,11 value taps with Reverse window

My current internet results yielded squat. Is there any attenuation loss that would be prohibitive to making this a practical application. EOL conditioners aside, I am looking for something that would reduce modem spec failure for transmits under 35 dbmv and help with noise mitigation. A feeder run that had a consistent 34-40 dbmv on return power @every tap would be a pretty sweet concept. Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?
