Re: need advice for aurora transmitter..



  Its the At3510 model in the otn site..i have a 15 mile hop to my router..i have it all set up but most of my nodes struggle to get a 32.5 on the upstream snr and the noise floor is flatter than a pancake just wondering if im hitting the At3510 too hard or too low in the back of the unit..is there a magic number like the rest of eqipment..right now i set my link @ 40db..so i have 23db of padding to the back of unit therefor having 17db hitting the unit.
