Maybe I'm a bit cynical but I felt it was a bit mellow dramatic and Jack Daniels influneced. If you truly love being a Lineman than any type of normal family life is one of the first things you give up, that's just the fact of doing the job. If you find yourself lamenting over that fact than it's time to hang it up and go inhouse where you'll be home every night.
But then what the hell do I know I'm on my third marriage, doing cable for the government and my on the road days have gone from 300 per year to about 30. I enjoyed my days as a lineman and would not trade them for anything. The job took me all over the United States, Canada, Central and South America as well as Japan, ain't no other job like it and I loved/love every second of it.
