In house employee is guaranteed state minimum wage, starting from the time they clock in, till the time they clock out, including driving time. If they make more off of piece work than min wage, they get it, if they make less, then they get min wage + any overtime if worked. The last time I talked to an employee, if a tech is working alot of overtime, but not getting enough production to earn piece work, then that tech does not remain a tech for long.
