Now that is fair,Sort of......The part I was going to add was to let management eat all the drive time............two hours in each direction (that =4) and if the overtime results so be it. Employers can fire employees for poor performance. But if you just let the bean counters run it all kinds of strange results will come up...........for the good of the company...............Also, minimum wage is where it starts............it would also be fair & smart to expect techs to improve & earn more. Those who don'y improve and earn more should go. Any consequence for defective equipment, drive time, customer actions, weather, illness or fatigue is just the same old whore with lipstick..............Joe
