A good rate is whatever you can get that you can accept for the job performed. In other words, what one man might be able to live on, you may not. Only you know what you need to cover expenses and or make a profit. I'd wager that the pay is acceptable as long as you don't plan to get rich from it. Those days have been long forever gone.
