Re: Cable Installer Contracting

I hear ya. People always ask me about the satellite installing part and I tell them don't do it isn't what it use to be, and as I see from the cable it's the same way. Just been a while since I have done the cable side, but I have done it. I just wanted to see what everyone considered reasonable rates especially since it's been a while since I have done it. Also, like in satellite I have my rates that I will work for and if they are not met I won't do it. We all know on both sides, cable and satellite, it's not worth doing if you can't make a living. I believe that part of the problem is there is always someone that will work for lower until they realize they are going in the hole, and I want to be part of the solution of not working for rates that are not acceptable. Don't get me wrong, I believe in hard work and doing the job right the first time. Just trying to get my figures together to see if it is even worth doing.
