The retainer will probably be topped out at either the $2,000 or $5,000, ending that aspect of your responsibility, but you won't get it back until you leave, this garauntees they have money to pay for any "future" chargebackes after you leave. The 90 days is how long they hold your money after you terminate employment with them, this gives them a chance to check your work after you go elsewhere. You should get an itemized list showing what charges they took out for back charges. If you are working for a company that is on the up n up, they should give you a chance to correct your work before applying back charges, it sounds like you are getting screwed! Go straight to the supervisor and ask him to give you a sheet showing jobs failed, reason failed and ask why you weren't given an opportunity to correct them. If he says no, tell him you are filing suit and see what his response is. This is clearly a violation of ethics. You would benefit in finding employment elsewhere.
