I'm sorry! I must have read that incorrectly. Someone posted "Mastec pays min wages" ? Please show me! Also that reply had mentioned time and a half pay for overtime? More like 4.23hr for every hr over 40. Also there is no min wage pay, Period!!! I went 2 days without being able to get a job closed for whatever reasons, cust canceled. Work order not correct, N/A's. A total of 12 to 14 hrs wasted driving around trying to pickup work, run to meet other techs to grab equipment to deliever/drop off materials. Did my backup reflect min wages for those days of hrs driving for the company? NO! Pay is paid out only if you close jobs period! There isn't any compensation for hourly.
Two days one time, two days another in the same pay period. Result??? Nothing! You would have thought i would have gotten min wages for the four days of doing company business, without being able to close any jobs would have compensated me. Nope...
Good luck with that. I know the true Mastec way!
