Re: Japan

I worked all over Japan in the early 90's for quite some time. Are you really a dish washer? Why are you on the cable bar? Who do you work for? I did all too many business dinners with high level executives and I purchased too many of these $100-$500 cantaloupes (below). I always bought Melons from Yubari I was told they were the best. Foods I hate; Natto, it's stringy and slimy mess, plus it smells bad, umeboshi very sour, and I love sashimi but HORSE sashimi!! I'm not making this up! I worked cable in the US, Chile, Australia, UK, Canada, Mexico, and traveled a large part of the world on my own and as a Navy brat and never did I like a place less then Japan. In general people were ok and there were many nice people there but being American in Japan was like being Arab in the US. The thing that turned me off the most was the work climate. That was 15-20 years ago and time changes a lot of things. My question is what do you love about that country that you would live there??
