Speeking of old school, heres one for the installers. Back in the early 80s I was sent out to survey an install in an old (historical) house and when I went into the basement I saw this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Knob_and_tube_wiring and it was still active.  It blew my mind. First time I'd ever seen it. Has anyone else run into this?
