I've been around the business for a while, mostly CATV. Now I'm in management for a service provider that is using Direct TV and Dishnetwork for video delivery.
What I'm hoping to gain is an understanding of the "flow" if you will of Direct or Dish to the installer.
I've heard "HSP" "ISP" "Retailer" and "Fulfillment"... just need to understand how all this works and the relationship to DTV and Dish.
My company has just started using contractors for installations in the last couple years retaining the services of a large, nationwide prime.
My problem is, this prime cannot provide coverage to remote areas, my thinking is to be able to use a fulfillment company to meet the needs.
I'm just not sure how that works having just been getting into all this recently.
