I gotta ask? how often does CATV attach above secondary power? I've been doing this a long time and know what's safe and why things are built the way they are, AND how to build them. i didn't take all the college courses it takes to "engineer" some of the modern day urban systems, but some of the things that i'm being asked to build these days, is just unsafe and kinda "hack" like. i've tried to show some of the "engineers" the way things should be built and explain why and how, but the end product is still the result of a desktop daydream, which is always more expensive for them. is there still a utility "code"? what is it now? are we really supposed to start attaching wherever we'll fit?
