One or the other. Clean your fibers. You may have something coming on creating noise. Check it in the morning. See which leg it might be coming from. I would guess the transmitter just because you are pulling the fiber and replacing it and it comes up. could it be moisture getting in? Causing a fog on the optics? Make sure you have nothing bending too far also. I also ran into a problem with a combiner or splitter in the headend before that would get better for some reason, when I took out the fiber at the transmitter and replaced it. Don't know why. But it was in the headend eventually.
