FYI, DTV hires and pays as a commissioned employee. This is why they think that they can get away with it. If they paid you hourly then it would be worth the wait because you would be paid regardless. Just another way for them to abuse and take further advantage of the techs. If they didn't spend so much money on commercials and hired spokespeople, they would have more money to pay out. We all know that that ain't gonna happen though. You can't go 5 minutes of watching anything without seing a DTV commercial.
