Why did you wait til you quit before you came here to complain?  You should have been hitting up HR about your unpaid time.  Yes, as their employee, they can tell what to do and when to do it, but you have to be paid for all time, from the moment you start your engine til you kill it.  So now what?  You going to work as a contractor?  Nothing more fun than leaving in house to be a sub and then find out you'll be treated the same.
